Training
Free N One operates a 4-day training for Churches that are interested in:
• Starting a successful Drug & Alcohol support group in your local church/organization.
• Starting a successful Tough Love (family member) support group in your local church/organization.
• Strengthening your existing meeting or program.
• Educating your church members or ministerial staff.
• Enhancing personal knowledge.
Why is it important to join with other churches in my area?
Once churches have been trained and join with Free N One, each Church will choose a day (Monday through Saturday)
stating when it will operate. Next, the church's information will be posted along with others Churches in a directory that
is distributed out to recovering people, treatment centers, sober livings, etc. There are no Sunday meetings, recovering
people are encouraged to attend their Church on Sunday.
Each graduating member will be given a Free N One format, which is the same all across the country. When a recovering
person goes to a meeting in Los Angeles it will be the same in Chicago, thus no surprises.
All recovering people are asked to make at least three meetings a week. This alone with activities at their local church
helps in the process of renewing the mind, reinforces good habits, and makeing new friends that are seeking the same
freedom.
Every church member is trained on how to facilitate a Christ centered 12-step meeting in their local Church. They will be
able to assist in peer to peer counseling.

• Understanding the Disease of Addiction
• Conducting a Successful Meeting in Your Church
• The Definition and Process of Recovery
• Understanding the Practicing Addict/Alcoholic
• Understanding the Recovering Addict/Alcoholic
• Understanding and Preventing Relapse & Relapse Justification (Addict Thinking)
• The Church Response and How to Respond
• The 12 Spiritual Ways to Recovery
• Road Map To Recovery
• Recognizing Character Defects and Tools to Change
Training to Help The Family Member
Simultaneously Free N One will conduct training for those in the Church who will facilitate a meeting for the family
members. This meeting is called Tough Love. For every addicted person using and abusing drugs or alcohol there are
at least ten loved ones affected by their behavior.
We train in the areas of:
• Enabling
• Codependency
• How to Get Peace Back In Your Life
• What to Do When an Addict Lives In Your Home
• Conducting a Successful Meeting in Your Church
• Boundaries and Their Importance
• Identifying Mind Altering Chemicals & Paraphernalia
• Healthy Relationships
